The (insert organelle) is like a (insert everyday object) because it (insert organelle job/function) the same way the (insert/describe everyday object job/function). *you can find the organelle jobs/functions in a document I posted to classroom Nov 14*
Example: The nucleus is like a brain because it controls and directs all activities of the cell the same way the brain controls and directs the functions of the body. (You cannot use this example as one of your analogies.)
Cell Project:
Option 1 (Poster): turn in a poster with your 12 analogies on it.
Option 2 (3D model): turn in your model. Your analogies will be turned in electronically as a Google Doc which you will "share" with me (Cantalini).
Option 3 (slide presentation): turn in your slides (with 12 analogies) electronically by "sharing" your Google Slides file with me (Cantalini).
Groups of three must do 2 projects: an animal and plant cell.
